The Greatest ADDYS Ever

Feb 26, 2018 | Blog

Good work for good people—that’s what we’re all about.

Friday marked the ADDYs, the annual night of celebrating the advertising industry in Buffalo.

It’s a night that we look forward to every year. It’s a chance to see our friends in the industry and celebrate the creativity in our local advertising community. It’s also a chance to reflect on the work that we’ve done throughout the past year.

The theme of this year’s event was: The Greatest ADDYs ever, and we completely agree.

We’re proud of this year’s body of work. We cherry-picked our entries so that we could save some money for our many wonderful team meals, and ended up winning for 9 different pieces out of the 15 we entered.

When you have good people on your team, good people as your clients, and you operate in an atmosphere of trust and respect, good things happen.

Here are some of the highlights:

Olive Ridley

We like working with good people that want to make a positive impact in the world. Olive Ridley, a recycled paint brand, was a perfect fit.

Villaggio

We created a poster series to celebrate our friends’ second year serving Ellicottville.

Dunn Tire

We executed a project for a corporate brand in a public space without feeling too advertising heavy. Take a look at the Beer Garden at Buffalo RiverWorks.

Occasions by Osteria

Osteria 166 launched their new catering arm, and we helped them with their branding.

Kim’s Wedding

We were over the moon with joy for Kimmy, who went #FromSimonsToStacy this year.

Buffalo Jewish Federation

Simple. Clean. Restrained. We created the look for Made in Buffalo, a new speaker series hosted by our friends Buffalo Jewish Federation. (Oh yeah, and this guy Seth Godin was there.)

Erie County Anti-Stigma Coalition

Three years in the making, we were incredibly proud to launch the Erie County Anti-Stigma Coalition to the public this year. Join the conversation about mental health in order to reduce the stigma associated with mental illness. Take the pledge and show your support.

Goodrich Coffee & Tea

We like working with conscientious clients like Rich. We also really like coffee.

BestSelf Behavioral Health

From high-level strategy to website development, we were proud to help the CATS and Lake Shore Behavioral Health teams merge to become BestSelf Behavioral Health.

Meatball Street Brawl 2

MBSB2 was even better than the first! With a new website, social media campaign, t-shirts, and trophies, this was an all-hands-on-deck project that we were proud to participate in. (And now we’re hungry.)

Thin Man Brewery

We may have cracked open a can while making some social media graphics for a few select beer releases from our friends at Thin Man Brewery.

Phillips Lytle

We look forward to this project every year. It’s become a nice holiday tradition.

Alex’s Place

Introducing the Man Cave Campaign. Our client told us to make people laugh. How great is that?

This Little Pig

It’s been a true honor working with Jeff and Mandy to open their first restaurant, This Little Pig! (If you haven’t yet been, go read this great write-up by the Buffalo News to see what you’re missing out on.)

Eli Fish

We’re gonna party like it’s 1835. Stay tuned for more details about the opening of the first brewery in Batavia.

Our goal for next year: get the entries in before the day they’re due.

Meatball Street Brawl

Sometimes you get so caught up in the moment that you forgot to stop and look around. That was almost the case with the inaugural Meatball Street Brawl that Telesco Creative Group and client Osteria 166 helped to create. 2 years ago, the idea was conceived, but the...
