Meatball Street Brawl

Oct 3, 2016 | Blog, Branding

Sometimes you get so caught up in the moment that you forgot to stop and look around. That was almost the case with the inaugural Meatball Street Brawl that Telesco Creative Group and client Osteria 166 helped to create. 2 years ago, the idea was conceived, but the trigger was never pulled because the timing wasn’t right. This year, on October 2, there were meatballs on Mohawk St. Fifteen restaurants came out to compete for the championship belt for best meatball in Western New York.

We were hoping to get 400 people to show up when we were planning, but the event began to catch fire on social media and more than 1,100 people showed up. At one point, our PR partner on the project, Phil Pantano (Pantano and Associates) and I had the opportunity to sit back and just look around to see what we helped to build. It was exciting, fun, memorable and successful. A great moment for our teams, client and the charities it helped to support. What a day! We are proud to have been part of it and can’t wait for next year.

Oh, and the Bills beat the Patriots in Foxboro. Not that we are taking credit for that, but draw your own conclusions.
