Beltline Brewery & Kitchen

From the late 1800’s to the end of the first World War, Buffalo’s Belt Line made moving around the city a welcome part of everyday life. Developed to serve as both a freight and commuter rail line, the line had 19 commuter stations supporting nearly two dozen trains per day. A trip cost 5 cents. A beer not much more.

The Belt Line was 15 miles long, and created a continuous loop through downtown Buffalo, as well as a number of industrial neighborhoods it helped foster. The Belt Line was for all Buffalonians—and brought all of the people together. Belt Line Brewery & Kitchen sits close some of the remaining Belt Line tracks. We took inspiration from the history of the Belt Line and work ethic that helped it thrive.
